IMG_3482.JPGSituated in Em Quartier, this lovely little restaurant and grocery store is located across from the Food Hall on the first floor. It’s a great place to drink some New Zealand wines and stop for lunch in between shopping and beauty treatments.

They have several different gluten free items on their menu, including a tasty beet root and goat cheese salad, roast chicken and this delicious salmon dish with sautéed cabbage and mustard seeds. Oh, and did I mention their French fries are gluten free as well? They are cooked in their own dedicated fryer. I’m not sure where else you can find gf chips and homemade ketchup. Bliss!

Feeling nervous, I checked out the website and made a reservation for myself and two friends. I emailed them directly and explained that I was gluten free and two of my friends were vegetarians. Looking at the menu I saw immediately that they had a separate vegetarian section, so I was feeling hopeful. The email reply was quick and courteous; they reassured me that our dietary needs could be met. Continue reading
