May Veggie – Asok Intersection

m2I have known about this place for quite awhile, but haven’t been to check it out for myself until recently after yoga. I emailed the owner, May, to ask her about gluten free items and she replied with a list of suitable dishes I could have. Heaven!

Now that I have found it and know I can have a variety of dishes, I will certainly be coming back πŸ™‚

Below is the list of gluten free dishes you can order off the menu:


Vietnamese Fresh Spring Roll


Stuffed Avocado


Avocado Salad

  • GYOSA, steam rice flour wrapped with mushroom and tofu (appetizer)
  • PHO YAM, Vietnamese noodle with mix vegetables (you should order “no crispy mushroom” because we use wheat flour in that)
  • Green Curry
  • Panaeng Curry
  • Khao Soi, noodle in yellow curry. (Please tell them to use Rice noodle which we call “Sen lek”)
  • TOMYAM Hed, Mushroom Spicy and sour soup
  • TOM KHA, Galanga soup with rice milk
  • Larb Tofu, minced tofu with Thai herbs in spicy and sour sauce
  • Nam tok hed, Japanese mushroom with Thai herb in spicy and sour sauce
  • Somtam, papaya salad (please tell them “no crunchy tofu”)
  • Fried mix vegetables
  • Garlic Fried rice
  • Fried rice with salted plum
  • Lard Nah, Rice noodle with vegetables in gravy sauce
  • Tofu and vegetable stir fried with turmeric paste
  • Kuay Jab Yuan, Rice noodle with mushroom in gravy sauce
